I was going to write down a slew of programming languages required, and databases required, but at the end of the day, i realized that it doesn't matter. What matters isn't what you know as much as what you're willing to learn. In my experience - if an individual is all about “open source” then they're narrow minded; and conversely if an individual is all about “Microsoft' then they again – are closed minded. The reality is, that if there was a perfect language, we'd all be using it, and if there was a perfect OS we'd all be using it and if there was a perfect framework, we'd all be using it - until such time as someone hacks it, and it is no longer perfect...

You describe a potentially large amount of work. Even though it may not seem like a lot of work to you, making a site is usually a lot of work.
Today is May 5, which leaves you with 2 weeks to get the site done - which includes design, database design (if you want it to be updatable) as well as development. 2 weeks is just too short of a time to produce anything quality.

I am not sure why your deadlines are so tight, but if you are serious about your business, you tend to plan things, which you didn't.

I will be taking all that you think you know now, and destroying it, in order to teach you a new way to program, and a new way to deal with databases.

The best programmer, gets the job, and gets to learn my funky way of managing data, state, and user interactivity.

This is an intern position, and most of your time will be used up learning, not producing, for the first 2 - 3 weeks.
